Disowned and Disinherited
Once upon a time, Prince Ghomio was disinherited for something “fair to middling,” aka a “medium” sin. NOT for marrying Princess Shewliett (tho he did) but for changing his major to “digital art with a minor in pattern-creation,”
(His fam must have been from the Arabic-speaking world, heh.)
Anywhoodle, he wasn’t convinced that there was a bona fide problem until… his mom, Queen Roysha, would hang up every time he called the castle.
Even when his bros and Papa picked up the phone, she would hang up. Then, the males on the castle started trying to leave the line open so she could hear his voice and relent.
But the queen would shut her ears.
After several months of this, the Prince understood how serious was his mum about this disinheriting and disowning thing—and how serious it was—when he got into a big accident on his Royal Vespa (which he was not stripped of), and even THAT didn’t make her unplug her ears.
“I want my MOMMA, and you’d BETTER put her on the horn NOW!!!”
(In his delirium, he forgot that the DUDES in his family had been trying to HELP them reconcile.)
Seeing that there was only one way to convince her son—whom she STILL loved DEEPLY and DESPERATELY—that he had crossed the line and was dead to her, she called his hospital room (which was beautiful yet kinda ghetto since he was no longer heir to the throne) and it went something like this:
“Hello? Nurse Jenkins? You say my son… Ghomio… hath been found and brought to you?”
“Yes!! YES, MAMA!!! It’s MEEE!!!”
“Nurse Jenkins, I can’t hear you. There’s only… static.”
“Mama, it’s ME!!! Can’t you hear me?? I’m DYING here!! Don’t you care about me?? I’m your SON!”
“What was that, Jenkins? No, I think you’re confused. I only have three sons. Ghomio is dead. He died three months ago.”
“MaMAAAAAA!!!! PLEASE!!! I’m BEGGING YOU!!! This is the END for me!!! I’m SORRY!!!!! I was WRONG!!!!”
“Thank you for your condolences, Sharla. Being abandoned by my own son for oil paints was hard to take for a few weeks but once I realised how committed he was to huffing I knew he would not live for long. And now that he’s well and truly gone, there is no point in weeping over spilt linseed oil. Anyway, got to go, we have a big meeting here in the castle. See you!”
Ex-Prince Ghomio died of a broken heart only days later.
(Though he may have been kept hostage forever by Nurse Sharla.)

Sometimes, we cling so closely to our sin that it definitively declares To God that we want naught to do With Him, effectively quashing and quenching His PRECIOUS Holy Spirit.
There is nothing worse than being rejected by the people who “are supposed to love you.”
Jesus did not come to bring peace but to bring a sword, to divide families (Matthew 10:34-36, Luke 12:51-53) if they did not believe In Him.
That said, and more importantly, He ALSO Came to Serve As A Divine BRIDGE between us and God The Father.
If we refuse His GENEROUS offer of salvation Through HIM and Him ALONE, we will be cast into “the outer darkness,” as stated in Matthew 8:12, 22:13, and 25:30, and be inaccessible To Him (and Vice versa) for eternity..
