Tryna figure out how to thrive

In this life are trials, it’s true… But

My car is making noises and yelps 
Both it and me keep ON crying 
Out for help 
It’s not as though i’m asking for wealth 
It’s just that there’s no food and no money left

The pantry’s looking almost brand-new
Rent, 
credit cards, utilities, were due 
(10 days ago, or so,
